Heavy defeat for Malta Under 21s in Greece

Malta's Under 21 side suffered a third defeat in as many matches from the EURO Under21 Qualification Group matches. This time it was a heavy 5-0 beating by Greece in Athens.


The home side dominated the match throughout and took the lead as early as the 5th minute through N. Karelis who added a second in the 13th minute to give Greece a 2-0 half time lead.

 

Kitsiou, Diamantakos and Giannotas scored the second half goals for Greece for a final 5-0 scoreline.
