Rabat Ajax gained top spot of the BOV First Division League with a narrow win over St Andrews.
The all important goal was scored by Adam Smeir, late in the game. Rabat now have 35 points, Melita are now in second place on 33, while front runners for a number of weeks are now placed third on 32 points. Zejtun Corinthians are fourth on 30 points, but with a game in hand.
