Encouraged by the interest showed in the organization of the two previous Football Physical Trainers Diploma Courses, the MFA Technical Centre, has the pleasure to announce a third Course to be held at its facilities in Ta’ Qali. The scope of this course is to teach the core concepts of football physical training methodology to qualified prospective candidates thereby imparting the required competencies to a wider base of football professionals. With the collaboration of UEFA Coach Education Department, one of the instructors for this course will be Mr.Roger Spry who is one of the most important experts and known sport scientist at international level.              http://www.rogerspry.com/#!maintenance/c66t  Course Aim The idea to develop and create a football physical trainer course was born from the necessity to broaden the knowledge base regarding the concepts of training methodology. The target is to teach the required competencies to prospective candidates. Target competencies:1)    Functional evaluation of football players2)    Creation of individual and collective physical training programs3)    Appropriate role within the team and relationship with other staff members  For whom is the Course intended The course has been developed for prospective physical trainers who will be responsible for the physical conditioning of MFA registered players at all levels. Furthermore, following last indications provided by UEFA, the Technical Centre has decided to extend this possibility to all the coaches in possession of the UEFA A diploma.
