Valletta moved to just three points behind leaders Birkirkara as they defeated them 2-1 in a top-of-the-table clash to end the Stripes' impressive run of thirteen successive wins.


Ryan Fenech put Valletta ahead but Haruna Shola Shodiya levelled matters. However Hamza Barry notched the winner for the Citizens.
