The changes in the composition of the Malta FA Executive Board for the remainder of the current mandate (2023-25) have been approved by the ongoing General Assembly.

Most of the serving officials have been part of the Association’s top executive body since July of last year but seven new members have been elected to the Executive Board for the final year of the current term.

In line with the practice adopted in recent years, the new members have been nominated to serve on the Executive Board by their respective Association or Standing Committee.

George Galea and Keith Perry have replaced Alex Fenech and Robert Micallef as two of the four Executive Board members representing the Premier League, while Ayrton Bonnici, Dino Bonnici and Mark Tanti have taken the Challenge League seats previously held by Eamon Bugeja, Dr Peter Fenech and Matthew Naudi.

Mauro Camilleri Darmanin is the new futsal and beach soccer representative on the Executive Board, succeeding Mark Borg, while Graziella Lovegrove has filled the seat which had been vacated by Dana Farrugia in representation of women’s football.
