Improving clubs facilities is essential

Sustainable resources and improved facilities were the focus of discussions when on Monday evening Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo visited the football clubs of Zejtun Corinthians and Tarxien Rainbows.

The MFA President hailed the importance of sustaining member clubs in creating the right environment with the best possible facilities for the development of football players from a very young age and for the needed volunteering set up to assist the parent club in its ongoing football and social mission.

Members from both clubs visited on Monday and thanked the MFA for its continued support on a day-to-day basis and outlined the importance of long-term investment in football also through the commercialization of sports facilities, which could prove vital in generating new incomes to cover part of the operational costs of running a football club.
