Malta FA collaborates with other federations in the project FAIRER

FAIRER is an Erasmus+ project intended to address radicalisation through sport, particularly football, by developing, testing and validating guidelines for football stakeholders aimed at preventing youth radicalisation.
The Malta FA is one of the partners in this project, that also includes the Federatia Romana de Fotbal, the Royal Belgian Football Association, and the Northern Ireland Football Association Ltd together with one academic partner which is the university of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The project is 36 months long (3 years) and will provide methodology which will be freely accessible to all European citizens and also beyond Europe.
The main aim of the FAIRER project is to use sport specifically football to fight radicalisation among the football sphere as well as in society in general.
