New UEFA B Course Hosted by Malta FA Technical Centre for 2024-2025 Season

The Malta FA Technical Centre is hosting a new UEFA B Course for the 2024-2025 season, which will run for 144 hours from September 2024 to February 2025. For full details about the UEFA B Diploma Course, please see the information below.

Course Conditions:
  • Duration: The course will start in September 2024 and finish in February 2025, consisting of 6 modules, each lasting 3 full days with theoretical and practical sessions.
  • Location: Sessions will be held on weekdays at the MFA Technical Centre, unless otherwise stated. Online sessions may be included if necessary.
  • Attendance: Candidates must attend at least 90% of the course hours. Any missed hours must be completed in the next available course.
  • Assessment: Candidates must complete modular tasks, a formative task, and practical sessions with club players as part of the overall assessment for this course. If a candidate fails to achieve the 60% pass mark in both practical and theoretical components, they are entitled to one resit.
  • Language: The course will be conducted in English, so a good command of the language is essential.
  • Medical Clearance: A clearance to participate in physical activity from a medical doctor is required before the course starts.
  • Documentation: A copy of the required coaching certificates must be submitted with the application form.
Course Requirements:
  • Participants must have completed the UEFA C Diploma course and have at least three (3) seasons of experience at this level.
  • Participants must have access to a team from U15 or higher for practical assessment purposes throughout the course.
  • If the number of applicants exceeds the available spots, candidates will be selected based on a pre-course vetting criteria and selected candidates will be notified at least 3 weeks before the start of the course with the final outcome of their application.
  • The Malta FA Technical Centre has the final decision on the outcome of applications and the selection of candidates for this course.
Course Fee & Tentative Dates:
  • €800, which includes lunches, coffee breaks, course materials, and a course kit. Please note that once the course has commenced, the fee is non-refundable.

    13-14-15 January 2025
